Originally founded by Greg Doring in the summer of 1993 with 8 high school seniors going down to Pomme De Terre Lake for a memorable weekend, Nature's Call has grown into one of the largest Catholic young adult campouts in the US and an annual tradition for young adults through out the Midwest.

 

While Greg still shows up with his young family each year, Nature's Call is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. Currently, we have approximately 100 campers every year and hope those numbers continue to grow as more dioceses are able to join us for a fun and spiritual weekend of 'carefree timelessness.'
